Description

The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking an IT Technician for our

Aiken, SC,

location. The position will report to the IT Manager of Infrastructure and Security.

This role will be responsible for on-site IT problem-solving and system support for the Aiken wheel manufacturing plant, including IT user queries, responding to IT system issues within the facility, and ensuring optimization of all IT systems. It will also coordinate the delivery of IT services, policies, and initiatives at the local level and ensure local IT systems remain in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft-based systems, server networks, scan guns, and label printers. They will also have a demonstrated ability to problem-solve and apply analytical skills to complex computer issues.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge:Supports the local facility with all IT-related issues and assists in Helpdesk support claims for all Carlstar locations, which may include urgent after-hours requests.Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots complex computer equipment, including servers, network switches, cabling, user workstations, devices, RF equipment, printers, and ERP/MES systems.Installs and configures software according to approved user specifications.Maintains LANs, including software patches, updates, and fixes to prevent cyber security threats, including recordkeeping of all system maintenance performed.Maintains user-level information and access, including orientation for new users as needed.Experience and Education:

An Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is strongly preferred.2+ Years Experience in manufacturing IT is strongly preferredDemonstrated excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.Demonstrated ability to work independently, adjust to multiple priorities, and comply with deadlines required.Demonstrated excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills required.Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet with fall protection required.
