Denver, CO (2 days on-site)General Description of the EngagementOur client is in search for a Sr. Systems Analyst (SA) who also possesses practical knowledge in business analysis and a demonstrated ability to successfully combine both occupations (SA and BA). This SA will support the Utility Billing applications (i.e. Zuora), Combined Utility Billing project, and the ACTIVE Network ECS1 payment system.The Sr. Systems analyst will primarily be responsible for maintaining and grooming the product backlog, small project, enhancements, and bug fixes. They will perform requirements gathering (business and technical), documentation, verification, and refinement of new requirements as well as pre-existing requirements. This SA may be asked to support User Acceptance Testing when needed. The SA will report directly to the Application Analysis Manager but will receive day to day direction from a Product Administrator or a Project Manager.Expected Responsibilities:Write user stories with the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format as well as document Acceptance Criteria using the Azure DevOps tool)Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirementsCreate and maintain functional process analysis documentation such as data mapping, process flows, and requirements documents which identifies and recommends resolution of any process/system/integration-related gaps with the pre-existing templates provided by the project teamPerform technical process evaluation, analysis, along with recommending fixesPerform incident management for production issues related to ECS1Partner with the QA team to support User Acceptance Testing when neededMay provide go-live support and immediate post-production support activities as neededAttend and participate in SCRUM ceremonies with the core Zuora team (SA, developers, QA analysts, Prod Support Analyst, and the product administrator)Follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processesQualifications:Minimum three years of current, professional experience analyzing and improving applications which should include at least two years of experience performing lead-level work for multi-sized projects.Have experience with Payment, Billing and/or Accounts Receivable systemsHave the ability to work on multiple project or system simultaneouslyHave experience with workflow analysis, integrations/APIs, and overall ERP System designHave experience with writing user stories in the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) formatHave experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other Lifecycle management tools such as JIRAGather, refine, and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, and issuesHave experience with writing user stories/requirementsHave experience with data mapping activitiesHave experience with creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Lucid Charts and/or Microsoft VisioHave experience managing process analysis and improvement activities which impact multiple teams/departmentsHave experience identifying, recommending, and delivering recommendations which improve enterprise-wide systemsHave excellent team collaboration, delivering results with peers, customers, and vendorsHave experience with minor production support resolving incidents.Helpful but not required includes: have experience working with Scaled Agile; have experience in the public sector, at the municipal/county level; have experience Service Now, managing incident tickets.Eight Eleven Group (Brooksource) provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
