Job Description

COLSA Corporation is seeking a motivated Systems Analyst to support Linux administration efforts on our Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Enterprise Information Technology Support Services (EITSS) contract. The candidate will be responsible for servicing user submitted Help Desk tickets and assisting senior members of the team with testing and administrating systems. Duties may include user account maintenance actions of creating, removing, or updating use accounts, permissions, and group memberships utilizing Red Hat Identity Management system with interactions with Windows Active Directory; build or rebuild Linux systems using preconfigured Linux operating system images; configuring Linux network settings; install or update Linux operating system and application software; or perform general troubleshooting of reported errors.

Required Experience

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience. Five (5) years of applicable work-related experience. Must have Linux or Unix systems administration experience Current CompTIA Security+ CE Administrative experience of Linux systems to include loading and updating the operating system and application software. Experience with TCP/IP network technology and associated configurations in Linux. Experience with monitoring a Service Desk ticketing system and actively responding to user support tickets. U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Clearance is highly preferred. Experience with Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu Linux is preferred. Other Linux or UNIX distributions could qualify. Experience administrating Linux system by only using the command line interface. Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other security standards and guidelines for Linux. Experience with Linux cybersecurity vulnerability mitigations, patch testing & installation, and SELinux configurations. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot performance issues as they arise. Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite, Identity Manager, and Cluster Suite. Experience with developing and modifying BASH scripts, Python scripts, and Ansible Plays.
