LANSA Developer

We are seeking an experienced IBM I / LANSA Developer to join our IT team. This role involves the design, creation, modification /configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation of custom internal systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, code, test, and debug programs using LANSA development tools including; RDML, Visual LANSA, LANSA Web Event, VL Web , LANSA Composer and LANSA Integrator, along with some RPG & CL.Utilize LANSA development tools to build and maintain EDI processing interfaces with vendors. This requires mapping standard EDI documents to and from legacy Interface files working closely with trading partners to ensure accurate and timely on-boarding of new EDI trading partners.Effective and regular communication with both internal and external customers.Analyze business requirements for new development and build technical designs.Optimize and enhance existing legacy systems for improved functionality and performance.

Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and users in production.
