Job Description: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support the Client project to design and implement a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data exchange. You will collaborate with stakeholders and the vendor team to ensure that business and technical requirements are gathered and delivered for the Data Exchange and Modernization Program. This project aims to replace the existing data warehouse with a new cloud architecture, integrate with various source systems, and implement a Master Person Identifier (MPI) to link individuals across data sources. Additionally, you will document report requirements. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for the new data platform. Create data dictionaries with input from data stewards and meet with stakeholders to document report requirements. Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand and document current business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reporting. Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to data governance and security standards. Conduct data analysis and reporting to support project objectives. Utilize SQL querying skills to retrieve, manipulate, and combine data from multiple sources. Maintain excellent communication skills and take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring stakeholder needs are met. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex systems and processes, offering alternatives and recommendations. Excellent communication skills to translate technical information into layman's terms and actively listen to stakeholder needs. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and negotiating between different stakeholders' requirements. Solid understanding of business processes and objectives to align technical solutions with business goals. Effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning, with an initiative to understand the business and technical environment. Customer service orientation, focusing on delivering value to stakeholders and end-users with empathy toward their challenges. Experience serving as a business analyst on data management projects. Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation, combined with data analysis and reporting skills. Familiarity with healthcare data is a plus.
