McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Web Developer who will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment. We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team. Duties: - Develop and implement front-end web code and design using various technologies such as React and TypeScript - Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability - Create quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines - Assist in maintaining websites and troubleshooting issues - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Job Requirements: Experience: - Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular toolbox. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Web Developer to contribute to exciting projects and advance their career in web development.
