Rite-Solutions, Inc., is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst in the Middletown, RI area to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 34 Periscope and Imaging In-Acquisition Engineering Agent (AEA).
Position Description:
This position will provide business analysis support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 34 Imaging AEA Team. The Business Analyst will work with the Program Manager and Project leads, aiding them with the financial planning, budgeting, and execution aspects of running a program. Duties and tasking will include but may not be limited to those listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of planning, budgeting, and execution.Interface with customers to know their requirements and maintain positive customer relationships.Perform analysis to improve access, productivity, and quality to customers and their products.Elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes/improvements to business processes, business policies, and information systems.Research, recommend and implement solutions addressing customer concerns, goals, and requirements.Apply general mathematics skills and accounting principles to update budgets and financial tracking systems.Produce financial reports using existing templates and provide recommendations for improvements to reporting tools.Prepare materials for financial meetings.Analyze spend rates and trends and provide corrective recommendations when required.Recommend methods for effective and efficient use of funding in the budget and planning years and analyze obligation.Develop ad hoc reports for clients as required.
Requirements and Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.Intermediate-to-expert level proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to short-suspense data calls.Must be a critical thinker with excellent capacity to analyze, understand, and incorporate technical information.A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing business analysis for DoD programs, Federal Government programs or Information Technology programs.US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance with the US Government required.
Additional Skills of interest (not required):
Working knowledge of government accounting concepts and systems (such as SAP (ERP)).Active DoD Security Clearance is a plus
