Business Systems Analyst - Oracle Financials

As part of the IT Applications team, this position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Oracle Financial applications and related business processes.

This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), iExpense, Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA) and General Ledger (GL).

In this position, the right candidate will be responsible for the following:

Analysis and Solution Definition:

Identifies and provide assistance developing short-term and long-term strategic solutions with business leadershipCollaborates with business sponsors to review, promote, and enhance solutions that support timely and accurate transactional dataProvides analytical assistance to business users and other business analysts alike address challenges related to both business systems and processesHelps maintain cross functional solutions that may include and impact multiple application modules, business processes, and existing custom integrations or extensionsConfigures and maintains both Production and Non-Production environments to support technical team development efforts and user acceptance testing as applicableProject Execution, Delivery and Support:

Maintain and provide assistance on functional specifications, mappings/interfaces, procedures and scheduled jobsConsistently provides high-quality production support and project deliverablesSupports development of training materials for the business users and if needed, assists in the delivery of training contentAssists and ensures business end users are able to troubleshoot and identify root cause(s) of system errorsProperly identifies, tracks, reports, and resolves issues in a timely mannerScope/Accountability:

Provides production support for several modules in the business area they supportResponsible for the on-time and quality of their assigned tasks and activities through the IT project lifecycleDecision Making, Discretion & Latitude:

Willing to handle multiple tasks within a defined scope and timelinesRequires excellent organizational and leadership skills and the ability to prioritize assigned tasksRequires the ability to build strong working relationships with users and peersJob Requirements

Experience:

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 2-5 years of experience with Oracle ERP applicationsKnowledge of Oracle EBS R12 financial modules AP, iExpense and ARUnderstanding of Oracle EBS R12 financial modules such as FA and GLExposure and/or open to learn Oracle SQLExposure to systems analysis, design, and testingMust be a team player and willing to learn quicklyKnowledge and Skills:

Knowledge and exposure to various phases of the IT Project LifecycleAbility to successfully engage in multiple IT initiatives simultaneouslyUnderstands concepts and methodologies associated with IT Software Development LifecycleSupporting IT operational and key controls and supporting systemsExcellent organizational, communication & documentation skills with high attention to detailAbility to interact well with all levels within the organizationExcellent problem solving/analytical skills with a high level of accuracyAbility to work flexible hours as needed to complete projects and provide business support at critical times, such as month end closingAbility to adapt to team dynamics
