Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architect Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to define, maintain, and extend functional product architecture for FIS' suite of Financial Services Applications. Guide application development team through development process. Ensure development is done right the first time. Understand how products relate with other products and ensure interdependencies are in focus. Define and maintain architecture principles and standards for FIS application development based on FIS business requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with end-to-end systems development life cycles including waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development; performing solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, and use cases; estimating work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed; utilizing architecture skills including Component Relationship Diagramming and Sequence Diagramming; working with Amazon Web Services and database platforms including DB2, Oracle and PostgreSQL; and working with languages including JAVA, J2EE, ESQL, Python, and XML. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
