June 2003 in Kennesaw/Cobb County, GA/USA.Past Experience that is required: (What you have done in the past)1) Senior-level remote technical support for business2) On-site technical support for business3) Configuration and setup experience with Windows workstations, Windows servers, firewalls, Wireless Access Points.4) Configuration and setup familiarity with IP Cameras, VOIP Phone systems and Door Access Control Systems.NOTE: The successful candidate must be local to Kennesaw and Cobb County. Applicants outside this area will not be considered for this position.The skill set that is required: (What you can do now)1) Basic network IP addressing2) Ethernet rules and technology3) Windows Navigation4) Windows Server Navigation5) Windows Active Directory6) Basic Protocol knowledge DNS, DHCP etc.7) Backup planning8) Basic Windows Printing FunctionsPrimary Duties & Responsibilities1) Administer, maintain, monitor, and support all IT systems & equipment including desktops/laptops, servers, manufacturing computers, network and Telecom and other peripheral IT devices.2) Provision new IT infrastructure as needed to support local business needs.3) Perform operational system administration services including user accounts management, backup operations and monitoring.4) Provide desktop support services including PC/laptop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for both office users and manufacturing equipment systems.5) Must be able to work with a diverse client base; comfortable working in veterinary clinics, chiropractic clinics, coworking locations, professional offices, and more.6) Must enjoy working with a small team on many different types of projects.7) Provide internal IT support for our small team when needed.Education & Experience1) AA Degree with an emphasis in Computer Technology or Certification from a college or computer Technical Trade School.2) Prefer BS in Information Systems.Physical Requirements1) Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds short distances with or without assistance.2) Must be able to bend, squat, or crawl to reach low objects or tight spaces at client locations.3) Must have a valid Georgia driver's license and an insured automobile for traveling to metro Atlanta client locations.
