Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for an Active Directory Engineer to work on a 12-month contract position in Charlotte, NC. The pay rate ranges from $53 to $57/hour. This position is available for W-2 only and offers a hybrid work schedule. Work hours are M-F, 8 am - 5 pm, with some on-call rotation work. Local candidates to Charlotte are preferred.

Responsibilities of the Active Directory Engineer:Provide production support and change management planning to ensure the availability of on-premises Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).Assist with implementing IAM systems, processes, and procedures across the enterprise to enhance security posture.Offer operational support for tickets, break-fix scenarios, consultations, and change control implementations.Write scripts in Powershell and MS Graph to automate and improve efficiency.Conduct complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DFS, NPS, and DHCP configurations, among other operational systems.Develop, deploy, and manage Group Policy and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML2 and OIDC protocols.Requirements for the Active Directory Engineer:
Must have experience with projects implementing Active Directory/Entra ID features and performing maintenance, including change management plans, with relevant examples.Must have experience researching and creating MS Graph/PowerShell scripts from scratch, with a solid ability to adopt a system administrator/programmer mindset to improve efficiency through scripting.Must be able to answer basic technical questions regarding Active Directory.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience or High School/GED with nine (9) years of relevant experience.Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies (Domain Controller support, DNS, DHCP, NPS, etc.).Direct W-2 employment only - No 3rd Parties - Position not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or Transfer
