Job Description:As a
.Net Developer, you will be responsible for developing solutions, handling technical planning, and performing analysis and design. You will work across multiple projects, contributing to web application development, system testing, and documentation creation. Your main expertise will be in Azure, Microsoft C#, .NET (from version 1.1 to current), ASP.NET, MS SQL development, and Enterprise Data Modeling. You are expected to work independently, plan and process tasks efficiently, and contribute to various projects within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop solutions using C#, .NET Framework (1.1 to current), and ASP.NET.Collaborate with the Application Manager to perform assigned project tasks.Conduct system testing and create test documentation.Design and analyze project requirements and provide technical recommendations.Implement best practices for software reusability and scalability.Contribute to web application development, including working on HTML reports.Create technical documentation outlining application functionality and testing processes.Perform lower-level development tasks as needed, such as building reports or writing SQL procedures.Mentor peers and junior staff through technical instruction and documentation.Work across multiple projects, providing development support where required.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
7+ years of relevant development experience.Proficient in Azure, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework (1.1 to current).Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL procedures, functions, tables, and views.Strong knowledge of GIT version control and project technical planning.Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, Knockout, JSON, APIs, and Active X controls.Familiarity with manual QA testing processes and documentation creation.Ability to create flow diagrams using MS Visio or similar tools (optional).Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).Strong communication and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
