About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking an experienced

Scrum Master

to support our development teams responsible for Python-based front-end development, back-end services, and data parsing. The Scrum Master will be instrumental in leading Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and creating a collaborative, high-performing environment. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and that Agile best practices are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.Your role will be critical in ensuring our development teams operate efficiently while continuously delivering value as we build our next-generation SaaS platform.Duties and Responsibilities:Agile Leadership:

Guide the Python Front-End, Back-End, and Data Parsing teams through the Scrum framework, ensuring best practices are followed.

Sprint Planning and Facilitation:

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that teams stay focused on goals and timelines.Remove Impediments:

Identify and help remove any obstacles or roadblocks that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth collaboration between developers and stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Foster effective communication between product owners, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure clarity around goals, scope, and deliverables.Maintain Product Backlog:

Collaborate with product owners to keep the backlog well-defined, groomed, and prioritized based on team capacity and project deadlines.Monitor Team Progress:

Track the progress of the team against sprint commitments using Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Identify any risks or deviations and work with the team to address them.Continuous Improvement:

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, gathering team feedback, and implementing improvements to processes and workflows.Support Project Delivery:

Ensure the Python front-end, back-end, and data parsing projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.Stakeholder Communication:

Provide regular updates to leadership on team progress, impediments, and key metrics related to velocity, burndown charts, and overall team health.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:Bachelor's Degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting cross-functional development teams, including front-end, back-end, and data-focused roles.Technical Background:

Some technical understanding or experience with Python development, data engineering, or SaaS platforms is preferred to better facilitate discussions and decisions with development teams.Certifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or other Agile certifications are highly desirable.Experience in SaaS Environments:

Prior experience working in Agile teams developing SaaS applications, particularly in domains such as Telecom Expense Management, ITSM, or Data Engineering.Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:Scrum/Agile Expertise:

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.Software Development Understanding:

A strong understanding of software development processes, with a particular focus on SaaS development and teams working on Python-based projects (Front-End, Back-End, Data Parsing).Tools:

Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello to track sprint progress and team performance.Facilitation Skills:

Strong communication and facilitation skills to lead Agile ceremonies and ensure productive team collaboration.Problem-Solving:

Ability to quickly identify issues, remove roadblocks, and work collaboratively to resolve problems and improve team productivity.Team Leadership:

Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring development teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.Min Citizenship Status Required:
