Position Overview

The Information Technology team, located in Fairmont, West Virginia, is seeking an IT Systems Analyst. The person in this role will provide day-to-day support and coordination between the Business, the various IT teams (Fairmont, Novelis Regional and Global). The IT Systems Analyst is the first point of contact for all IT activities in the plant and has complete oversight of the IT environment at the plant and all related infrastructure.

Responsibilities:Lead support and growth initiatives for existing plant applications and works with regional/global systems, in line with the functional users, plant management, the NNA IT business analysts, and the NNA IT Manager and Business Engagement Manager.Addresses business issues and will coordinate with the different areas of the NNA and Global IT organization to develop solutions.Provides leadership, project management and ongoing support of existing specified business systems including vendor liaison, user liaison and continuous improvement and the development of new or replacement business systems, initiated both within the plant and from corporate initiatives.Captures plant business requirements and help transfer the requirements to the regional IT Business Analysts.Helps identify technologies that may benefit the operation and work with regional and global IT teams to ensure accurate fit and alignment.Facilitates the roll-out in the plant of new IT processes and standards and business applications or new infrastructure as defined by the regional or global IT teams.Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, handles project meetings, and identifies and coordinates efforts across local IT teams to resolve technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are detailed appropriately.Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree or equivalent experience Information Technology or Engineering2 - 5+ experience in IT environmentsGood technical skills around business applications, software, databaseApplication development knowledge preferredDemonstrated proficiencies surrounding infrastructure, servers, PC, local and wide area networksExcellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate efficiently with business users and plant management at all levelsAlignment to Regional and Global IT StandardsAttention to details, focus on delivery end-to-end services to final usersAbility to work in matrix structure and collaborate with regional teamsDemonstrate ability to multi-task and lead indirect resourcesShown ability to analyze and address problems collaborating with regional teamPreferred Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferredKnowledge of Manufacturing 4.0 and leading trends preferredKnowledge of Cybersecurity practices and handling security incidents preferredExperience with Digital Analytics, data structures and Power BI reportingKnowledge of Digital Twins used in simulation of manufacturing processesEnglish proficiency, other languages a plusWhat We Offer:
