Information Technology Manager

ByVerTek, an engineering and construction company specializing in fiber optic build projects, is seeking a highly skilled, motivated Manager of IT to lead and manage our IT operations, ensuring that our systems effectively support our operational needs.The IT Manager will develop and implement IT projects aimed at unifying the companys technology stack. This person will also manage all technology at the company and help coworkers learn and use all software programs.Primary responsibilities include:Work with the companys outsourced IT vendor to onboard and offboard employeesResolve IT support requests from employees.Install new software and hardware as needed, and change configurations, settings, and permissions to address computer issues.Monitor and manage endpoints using established MDM systemsMaintain corporate networksScope and implement new technology, as neededMonitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the companyManage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systemsEstablish a security policy to protect company information and resourcesThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:Bachelors degree in IT, computer science, or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in IT managementStrong teamwork and communication skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systemsExperience with network administrationByVerTek was founded in 2014 to bring a higher level of performance to the communications cable construction and installation industry.
