Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Tallahassee, FloridaDuration: 1 yr, plus extensionRate: W2 + CHPStart Date: November, 2024Minimum Qualifications of Candidate:The Department is seeking a Business Analyst professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):Experience scheduling technical integrations involving multiple resource teams.Experience organizing and facilitating training and/or technical presentations.Experience facilitating business and technical analysis, design, and planning meetings.5+ Experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, design, processand data flow, testing, and training.5+ Years of experience with data consolidation, editing, and normalizing rules.Proficiency with Microsoft Word.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Proficiency with Microsoft Project.Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.Technical knowledge of web, network infrastructure, network communication, and security preferred.Deliverables/TasksThe Business Analyst key deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects.Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports whichwill include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body asappropriate.Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.Develops project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.Assures that project documentation included the project plans, budget, risk plans, communication plans,change controls logs and reports.Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development andimplementation of business solutions.Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.Manages change control within the projects.Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path.Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.Note: The staff augmentation consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership.
