Agile Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TXThis is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and end-to-end management and delivery of defined deliverables, usually requiring engagement from multiple teamsKey responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into project healthEnsures that execution and delivery meet client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and costGuiding teams in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and ensuring adherence to Agile principlesCoordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery – e.g., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews), etc.Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables and Scrum teamPromote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations and Scrum teams to support deliverable completion within the timelineRemove impediments to the team's progress and shield the Scrum team from distractions, ensuring a focused work environmentFoster continuous improvement by encouraging teams to adapt and improve based on feedback from retrospectivesManage project financials and ensure resources are allocated effectivelyGather/facilitate status updates for stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks/issues, and schedule, ensuring transparency of team progressCollaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is clear, prioritized, and aligned with business needsCoach the team in Agile practices to encourage self-organization, empower team ownership of deliverables, and promote adherence to Agile methodologiesEnsure execution aligns with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholdersEnsure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
Requirements:
10+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery and business understandingExperience in Agile environments and understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion in both traditional and Agile settingsExtremely strong verbal and written communication skillsAble to interact productively with team members across multiple locations and time zonesAble to present project health and status clearly and conciselyAble to engage with senior/executive-level management as neededAbility to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint), Jira, and SharePointSelf-motivated with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to learn new tools and understand the business and existing systemsGood time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in Technology Project Manager/Technology Delivery Lead roles
