Responsibilities:As part of our testing team you will be responsible for ensuring high-profile software applications used by senior officials and their staff, are of the highest software qualityAs part of an agile software development team, you will actively participate in team discussions to contribute to producing functionalities that meet requirements and acceptance criteriaIdentify test scenarios and generate detailed test scripts using industry best practices and with minimal supervisionExecute test cases and test plans using manual and automated methodsIndependently identify, isolate, and document software defectsMaintain and expand existing test documentation, including test plans, test cases or scripts, and defect reportsEffectively communicate with project team and provide evidence to proceed with a software releaseAssist with on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integratedQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or STEM related discipline, or equivalent related experienceMinimum 7 years of experience as a software tester or quality analystDeep and demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive testing methodologies, tools, and best practicesExtensive experience in generating test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test casesStrong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g., MS DevOps & Test Plans, Jira)Experience in evaluating test coverage, identifying gaps, providing feedback, and implementing solutionsExperience with automation tools such as Postman, Newman, Selenium, Cypress, Jasmine, etc. is a plusAttention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defectsEffective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaboration skillsAdaptability and willingness to learnAbility to focus on deadlines and deliverablesCloud computing experience preferred (MS Azure and ServiceNow)Clearance RequirementMust have Active DoD Secret clearance verified in DISS.
