Senior MQ Architect/SME
to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support our team of developers building the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Position is required to be local to the Colorado Springs Region. This is a hybrid role and requires to be onsite in the Colorado Springs, CO office 4 times per month. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: The Senior MQ Architect/SME will be responsible for: Internal Service Bus and Enterprise Service Bus application development Web services Implementing MQ best practices Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps, and Test automation U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance The candidate should have hands-on working knowledge of MQ, SQL Server, and GitLab/Mattermost. The Software Developer shall possess experience with engaging diverse stakeholder groups, and collaborating with system users to coordinate and document Interface Control Documents. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with an Associates' degree, or minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with BS/BA; or minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience with MS/MA 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience Significant experience with developing applications using the Java Spring framework Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) 3 years of work experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.) 3 years experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications 3+ years of developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL Thorough understanding and experience in developing using agile scrum methodologies 6+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) Experience leading a team of developers for a large-scale Federal IT program
