Job Profile

The IT Project & Portfolio Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of IT projects, in close coordination with business teams. As part of the Project Management Office, h/she would be responsible for budgeting, tracking, milestone reporting and progress tracking. The role would also be responsible for managing vendor/suppliers and working with legal on the contracting language for project initiation.

ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and enhancements and in support of core organizational functions employing the Agile SCRM, Kanban, and Lean practices, as applicable.Be accountable for project delivery on time, under budget and as specified.Approach all software development projects using continuous integration and continuous delivery lifecycles.Develop, maintain and report on detailed projects using a PM based software such as Jira, MS Project, etc. using Agile practices.Develop, manage and report on IT budget for the group including:Collaboration with accounting to align with company budgeting calendar.Maintaining all licensing spend.Partnering with functional head on budget preparation, approval and deviation analysis.Work with vendors on scope, SOW and contracting. Maintain all IT contracts in depository renewing as needed.

Establish and provide high quality and informative written and verbal project communications including weekly status, dashboard and project updates, and executive summaries.Reporting status in a consistent, concise manner to management weekly or as required.Requirements/Key Experiences

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business or related field required10+ years of project and portfolio management experience in both applications/software development, IT security and Infrastructure-based projects.Experience managing projects with a variety of technologies, platforms and enterprise-wide impact.Project Management Certification (such as PMP or PMI) is required.Budgeting and project cost-management experience is required.Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including executive summaries. Should have experience presenting to leadership teams.Experience managing projects at a global level is required.Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise project management software such as Jira, MS Project, etc.Demonstrated knowledge of managing multiple, complex projects in parallelAbility to proactively keep project on track by gathering needed updates, risks, and issues prior to project meetings.Attention to detail a must while spearheading multiple initiatives.
