Heres a concise summary of the key responsibilities, deliverables, and required skills for the position:Systems Analyst Responsibilities :System Development :Design and develop a new system using Java/Angular/Springboot in a SQL 2019 database infrastructure.Translate high-level requirements from Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions into technical components.Collaboration and Communication :Coordinate with stakeholders, internal and external teams, and the Project Manager to implement the system according to the Legislative Budget Request (LBR).Communicate project progress and technical designs clearly to non-technical users.Technical Leadership :Lead technical efforts within the project team, ensuring adherence to Clients Project Control Processes and Change Control procedures.Manage system interfaces, scheduled processes, and ensure features meet functional and nonfunctional requirements.Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.Testing and Documentation :Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality.Document the system design, code, and test results, ensuring knowledge transfer to the Client ITS MEPIC Maintenance Team.Deployment and Maintenance :Contribute to system security plans, operations & maintenance plans, and deployment strategies.Support technical aspects of the system's ongoing operations.Deliverables :Technical Documentation : Detailed system design, technical requirements, and workflows.Test Scenarios : Document positive and negative test cases.Issues Identification and Reporting : Immediate identification of technical issues with recommendations for resolution.System Security : Contribute to the System Security Plan.Operations Support : Participate in crafting the Operations & Maintenance Plan and ensure knowledge transfer.Mandatory Skills and Experience :Education : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related IT field.Experience :At least 7 years in designing and implementing large-scale IT projects.Advanced experience with Angular (preferably version 15+), Springboot, Java, and J2EE.Familiarity with MS-SQL 2019 database and technologies such as REST APIs, JDBC, T-SQL, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript).Understanding of UI/UX design principles, state management, and build tools.Technical Proficiency :Angular : Deep understanding of core concepts, RxJS, Observables, and performance optimizations.Springboot & Java : Extensive experience with J2EE, REST APIs, and backend programming.Database Management : SQL programming with MS-SQL 2019, T-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and views.Soft Skills : Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, along with the capacity to explain technical designs in a user-friendly manner.This role requires a Systems Analyst who can integrate deep technical skills with strong project management and collaboration, ensuring the MEPIC upgrade project is successfully completed within the stipulated timeframe.
