JOB DESCRIPTION
We seek a Business Systems Analyst to assist in implementing a new system.The project includes system data extraction and conversion, system configuration, enterprise systems changes, testing and implementation support.Multiple ancillary business systems will be impacted by the migration of the primary business service to the new Statewide solution.These include Document Imaging, Call center, Appointment Scheduling, Task Management and Fiscal Management solutions.Primary system services such as security and case/provider record management will be revised for migration, requiring systems analysis and preparation for configuration at Go-live.The individual will work closely with business analysts and development teams to identify configuration and support requirements.The individual will also conduct configuration and testing of one or more areas of the migration effort.Skills required include business analysis, basic project management, meeting facilitation and scheduling, eliciting requirements, documenting business processes and creating workflow diagrams, troubleshooting issues, defect tracking, administering and testing applications.The ideal candidate will be able to work with the existing team to contribute in the following areas:Job Responsibilities

5+ years of proven IT Business System Analyst experienceMust have excellent oral and written skills and the ability to facilitate meetings, manage agendas and communicate in a professional manner even in high stress situationsRapidly learn how to configure and support new software systems.Strong understanding of the System/Software Development LifecycleProven ability to elicit and document complex business system requirements and technical needs including the use of workflow diagrams /charting techniques and wireframe models.Experience with configuring and implementing new systems and/or enhancing existing systemsAbility to recognize risks and system process challenges and facilitate solutions to mitigate themDocument, develop and revise system design test procedures and quality standardsWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with end users, developers, and other IT teams, and attention to detailBasic project management principles and techniques such as organizing and managing a project, developing schedules, identifying critical paths, and breaking down a project into individual tasksAbility to communicate clearly and precisely with customers, end users, key project stakeholders, developers and IT teams at multiple levels of the organizationOther Desirable Skills:
Experience creating basic SQL statements to extract, report and analyze dataExperience working for/with government agencies.Knowledge of CalSAWS and/or CalWIN configurations or experience with county conversions to CalSAWS a plus
