PURPOSE OF POSITION

The

Implementation Specialist

is responsible for onboarding new clients/plans with Definiti from point of sale through first deposit. The Implementation Specialist is the essential and central point of contact for communications and consultations with clients, financial advisors, and recordkeeping partners. In addition to onboarding plans into Definiti systems, the Implementation Specialist also works with different recordkeeping partners to ensure smooth setup and start of plans in their systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent customer service to clients and partnersEducate Clients about their document provisions and plan operationsSet realistic and appropriate expectations regarding the implementation processAcquire and review conversion records necessary for ongoing administrationsCoordinate activities and delegate tasks to clients, partners, and internal Definiti teamsEffectively communicate detailed responses to client and partners questions regarding the planAnalyze and ensure accuracy of data setup on Definiti systemsPrompt and accurate tracking of all onboarding/conversion requirementsStay current with retirement plan industry trends, including impact of regulatory changesMaintain accurate understanding of how our internal processes interact together, at both team and organization levelsRequirements

High School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree preferredTwo years or more of retirement plan industry experience requiredLarge, complex plan administration experience preferredExperience in high-touch, direct client serviceExperience with retirement plan implementation or conversion experience preferredExperience with Pension Pro and/or ASC a plusBasic MS skills to include Outlook, Word, and Excel requiredASPPA, NIPA or CEBS credentials or equivalents preferredREMOTE WORKING REQUIREMENTS
