Onsite Data Center Technician
for our client in the greater
Richmond, VA area . Our client supports global customers to execute IT service delivery. Together we are looking to help grow the career of a knowledgeable, Hands-on, technician.**Must have server break/fix & part swap experience to be successful in this role**Things to Know:Shift: Sun-Wed, 7am-5pmDirect HireThe ideal candidate will be responsible for the hardware break / fix support. Experience in software support would be a plus; however, candidate should have some knowledge of windows, Linux and Solaris.???????Must have Data Center experience.Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment (DELL, IBM and Client Servers).Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed.Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Experience and Skills Desired:Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skillsMust be able to hands-on break/Fix (Discovery, diagnose, execute hands-on, and confirm server is back up)Must be able to swap out (Motherboards, lasers, fans, arrays, etc.)Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
