The role

At Fidelity Enterprise Architecture (FEA), we are seeking an experienced User Experience Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for the Brokerage business domain. In this role, you will work directly with product teams across the retail investing space (brokerage accounts, managed services, banking services, etc) and the workplace investing space (401ks, health-insurance related accounts, etc) to design solutions that meet business priorities and initiatives.

What you will be responsible for

This role will be a very hands-on role driving the overall technical experience architecture of accessibility and internationalization (i18n) into fidelity.com both pre and post login as well as our mobile apps. You will directly responsible for the governance, architecture, and tooling that supports keeping all of our experiences accessible and translated for our customers. This is a greenfield project and a many year effort, we are looking for someone that can dream up and help guide our engineering and product organizations to deliver this new platform! You will collaboratively work across other product areas and multiple business units influencing to ensure the new web platform can be shared and consumed with all parts of the company.

In general, we need a proven User Experience Architect that can lead and drive the end-to-end architecture of multiple teams in a complex space. We are specifically looking for someone that has a passion and a history of delivering fully accessible and i18n experiences to our customer.

The Expertise we re looking for\u2026

The following is a selection of skills (but not a hard list of requirements) that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Proven experience in architecture, including scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.

  • Experienced in engineering web and/or mobile application's end to end, with a focus on customer experience, scale, security, and performance

  • Proficient in principles of API design and it s applications

  • Experience with enterprise API implementation, using REST and GraphQL [federation]

  • Ability to break down user interfaces into smaller reusable pieces and large-scale migrations

  • Experience with reactive and functional programming concepts.

  • Experience building highly scalable architecture to support Omnichannel experience platforms

  • NX generator, executor creation, and dependency graphs within NX monorepos

  • Experience using an enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or Contentful in a headless fashion

  • Feature Flags and A/B Tests

  • Personalization

  • Image optimization and delivery

  • I18N (Internationalization) and Translation strategies
