Job Description:

At Fidelity Enterprise Architecture (FEA), we are seeking an experienced User Experience Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for the Brokerage business domain. In this role, you will work directly with product teams across the retail investing space (brokerage accounts, managed services, banking services, etc) and the workplace investing space (401ks, health-insurance related accounts, etc) to design solutions that meet business priorities and initiatives.

What you will be responsible for

We are at point of inflection at Fidelity, our current CMS utilizes headful content delivery that presents issues in terms of risk control, speed to market, and developer and marketer satisfaction. We are currently embarking on modernization journey of our content system by moving to a headless architecture.

This role will be a very\u00A0hands-on role\u00A0driving the overall technical experience architecture of content into fidelity.com both pre and post login. You will be directly responsible for converting and modernizing our experiences to use our\u00A0new CMS.\u00A0This is a greenfield project and a many year effort, we are looking for someone that can dream up and help guide our engineering and product organizations to deliver this new platform! You will collaboratively work across other product areas and multiple business units influencing to ensure the new web platform can be shared and consumed with all parts of the company.

In general, we need a proven User Experience Architect that can lead and drive the end-to-end architecture of multiple teams in a complex space.

The Expertise we re looking for\u2026

The following is a selection of skills (but not a hard list of requirements) that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Proven experience in architecture, including scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Experienced in\u00A0engineering web and/or mobile application's\u00A0end to end, with a focus on customer experience, scale, security, and performance
  • Proficient in principles of\u00A0API design\u00A0and it s applications
  • Experience with enterprise API implementation, using\u00A0REST\u00A0and\u00A0GraphQL\u00A0[federation]
  • Ability to\u00A0break down user interfaces\u00A0into smaller reusable pieces and large-scale migrations
  • Experience with\u00A0reactive and functional programming\u00A0concepts.
  • Experience building highly scalable architecture to support\u00A0Omnichannel experience\u00A0platforms
  • NX\u00A0generator, executor creation, and dependency graphs within NX monorepos
  • Experience using an enterprise\u00A0CMS\u00A0such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or Contentful in a\u00A0headless\u00A0fashion
  • Feature Flags and A/B Tests
  • Personalization
  • Image optimization and delivery
  • I18N\u00A0(Internationalization) and Translation strategies

What to expect?

An initial conversation with the assigned Technical Recruiter for overall job expectations and employment requirements. Then you will have a conversation with one of the Architecture Leads operating in the Fidelity Enterprise Architecture group. After that, 3-part multi-panel interview where you should expect to discuss questions and scenarios around end-to-end architectural solutioning, technical background, and leadership topics with a group of your potential future peers.
