Fidelity Investments has an exciting Software Engineer in Test opportunity for someone who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be joining a team of engineers focused on engineering testing solutions on Fidelity s Core Brokerage product area responsible for building and supporting the web user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0

You will be applying your strong software development and test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Fidelity investments software solutions. You will also be supporting your team in adopting best practices to ensure we are building the right product and we are building it right. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies. The Expertise and Skills You Bring\u00A0

  • A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field\u00A0
  • Experience in JavaScript, AngularJS\u00A0
  • Strong working experience in test automation frameworks and harnesses eg. Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer.\u00A0
  • Experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy etc.)\u00A0
  • Cloud experience preferred - Amazon Web Services (AWS)\u00A0\u00A0
  • Focus on the deployment automation and orchestration
  • Assist with code branches, merges, builds pipelines, manage versioning etc.\u00A0
  • Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security\u00A0
  • Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests\u00A0
  • Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health\u00A0\u00A0
  • Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment.\u00A0
