Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close, including preparing journal entries.
• Reconcile asset and liability accounts monthly and quarterly, focusing on donations and pledge payments.
• Prepare monthly financial packages, including balance sheets and income statements
• Provide grant accounting, ensuring compliance with donor and grantor requirements.
• Serve as a backup for check runs and support accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Lead preparation for external audits and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with grant accounting experience.
• Non-profit background is a plus.

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000
