HR Generalist

Our client is a manufacturing company located in New Haven, and they are looking for a HR Generalist to join their team

Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • The HR Generalist will manage and oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Administer payroll functions using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide expertise in employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and claims resolution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries
  • The HR Generalist will develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and efficient workplace.
  • Support management in workforce planning, training, and development initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, EEO, and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications of the HR Generalist:

  • Must have experience with ADP
  • 5+ years of prior experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
