Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,852 per week

Certification Details Certifications Required: BLS Job Details Specialty: CVOR RN 6210 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts & Scheduling: 0645-1515 M-F. CV RNs make their own call schedule as a group. Job Requirements 3 years of CVOR experience Open Hearts, CABG, Valves MUST BE WILLING to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low Experience or 'Must have' skills: Open Hearts, CABG, Valves Schedule Information Shifts: 0645-1515 M-F Call Schedule: CV RNs make their own call schedule as a group Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week 1515-0645 Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3-4 weeks Fri 1515-Mon 0645 Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays Unit Specific Information of Suites: 2 CVOR suites Average of cases per day: 1-3 depending on the case as we do all thoracic and vascular cases as part of CV too Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers Is scrubbing required for RNs?: No Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3-4 days hospital clinical orientation, EPIC class and unit orientation/modules; 4-5 days unit based orientation; 2 buddy call shifts, flexible orientation based on recent heart experience Floating Requirements: MUST BE WILLING to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as 'helping hands' Additional Details BLS; Department: CVOR RN EMR: EPIC Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
