Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry - Neuro Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Neuro experience required License: Valid RN license (WA or Compact) Certifications: NIH Certification (must be current and submitted with application) Must-Have: Neuro experience, NIH Certification Job Description: - Position involves floating between units - On-call is not required - Weekends are required every other weekend - Block schedules are required - Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 4:1 - Facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds - The facility is a teaching hospital - Scrub Color requirements: RNs can wear any color - Charting is done using Epic software - Compliance documents are due the Monday prior to start - References covering one year of employment within the last three years are necessary - Travelers may be required to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal may result in termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours - Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours; anything over 20 hours requires approval - Orientation is 40 hours, and time spent on modules is self-reported with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
