Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Experience: 2 years required License: Valid State License required; specifics depend on location Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Telemetry skills - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Job Description: - Work in an Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) setting - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity if census drops - Weekend Shifts: 10 shifts per contract - Accepts first-time travelers - Facility has a total of 214 staffed beds - Must wear navy blue/white scrubs; scrubs not provided - Charting experience with Cerner - Required to have the flu vaccine; no exemptions allowed - May come into contact with COVID-19 patients - Orientation includes 28 hours (50% non-billable) - Modules are required pre-start and potentially during orientation, average 12 hours; modules are billable up to 4 hours - RTO must be on the initial submission for the full 13 weeks with no more than 7 days off preferred and no RTO the first two weeks - Must provide two supervisor references - Local candidates accepted under the local rule - Return staff must have left previous employment for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler - Interview by manager is optional; candidates must be okay with this Please note, all submittals will be reviewed by the clinical team.
