Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required, exceptions made depending on the unit License: Valid license required at the time of submission Certifications: - Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Preferred: National Institutes of Health (NIH), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Must-Have: - Experience recovering open-heart patients - Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience with PrisMax/PrismaFlex devices - Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Impella - Trauma and surgical recovery experience Job Description: - Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation - No on-call requirement, but possible low census shifts - Ability to float to Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) when not needed in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) - Compliance requirements include completion of background checks, caregiver checks, and lab appointments within specified timeframes - Completion of onboarding modules during the first 8 hours of orientation, with additional time billed at a lower rate - Flu vaccine is required unless an exemption is approved for medical or religious reasons
