Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Not specified License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Epic experience required Job Description: - Interview offers to be accepted or declined within 48 hours or they will be rescinded.- Start date as soon as possible.- Must work two out of three holidays during the holiday season.- Required to work every third weekend.- Medical or religious exemptions accepted for Flu and COVID vaccines.- The ability to float as needed within your skillset.- Nurse to Patient Ratio is 1:5.- The unit has 11-20 beds.- Common diagnoses and treatments include CHF, COPD, Atrial Fibrillation, pneumonia, abdominal and orthopedic surgery, cellulitis, and UTI.- Special procedures required include wound vac, dressing changes, IV insertion, tube feedings, NG tube placement and management.
