Audio Visual Tech Support Student Worker - Community EducationPart-timeSalary: Current student worker rateJob Description: Assist with the setup and teardown of stage, lighting, and sound equipment for events.Support the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment, including microphones, projectors, and sound systems.Set up mic stands, run cables, and conduct sound checks.Manage microphones on stage during events, monitor them using Wireless Workbench, and handle track playback as needed.Assist with hanging, focusing, and operating lights, and may operate the follow spot during performances.Support the main lighting operator in executing cues from the cue sheet.Provide backstage assistance with cues, curtains, and set changes as required.Student must currently be or have been enrolled in tech theater class or filming TV class.
