Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily SSOP, GMP, CCP, and PC checks, ensuring all beverage production processes meet established quality standards.
  • Conduct and supervise testing of product samples (e.g., pH, brix, color, organoleptic evaluations) and release batches based on results.
  • Monitor equipment calibration (e.g., pH meters, refractometers) and maintain lab operations according to scheduled shifts.
  • Verify production and packaging activity, including lot numbers, labeling, net weight, and other product specifications, ensuring full compliance and traceability.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, manage hold procedures, and coordinate corrective actions in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
  • Supervise and train QC associates, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
  • Conduct internal audits, manage product specifications, and coordinate rework operations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred; minimum 5 years of QC experience in the food/beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP practices, with hands-on experience in beverage production.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
