Are you passionate about the telecom industry and have a knack for leading construction projects? If so, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telecom Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting telecom construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of the telecom construction project.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project feasibility and to develop detailed project plans.
  • Manage and coordinate with team members and subcontractors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to track progress and adjust as needed to meet objectives.
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, including identification and mitigation of potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Deliver project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Resolve any project-related issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in the telecom industry.
  • Proven experience in project management and familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
