Are you ready to take your manufacturing career to the next level? We are currently seeking an experienced and highly-skilled Bilingual Assistant Plant Manager for a permanent role in our dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator in both English and Spanish, with a strong background in production, management, safety, accounting, P&L, and operations. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Bilingual Assistant Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting the Plant Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
2. Ensuring that all processes are compliant with safety regulations and standards, and fostering a culture of safety within the team.
3. Managing and overseeing the production process, making necessary changes to ensure maximum efficiency.
4. Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, and ensuring that the team adheres to them.
5. Assisting in the preparation and management of the plant's budget, and ensuring that production costs are kept under control.
6. Providing bilingual support to ensure clear and effective communication between all team members, regardless of their primary language.
7. Collaborating with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on production, management, safety, and operations.
3. Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
4. A strong understanding of accounting principles and P&L management.
5. Demonstrated experience in managing a team, with the ability to motivate and lead effectively.
6. An in-depth understanding of safety regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions quickly.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
