Job Description:
This position serves as a senior-level IT project manager, providing oversight, leadership, and accountability for multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously or for a single large project.
Responsibilities include:Functioning as a PMO resource to CLIENT managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development.Developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are logical and resource driven.Maintaining the change control process, managing, and tracking changes in scope.Identifying project issues and risks, escalating to senior management as appropriate.Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules.Interacting with various teams to develop and maintain project schedules and related documents.Assisting in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement.Providing assistance on special projects and promoting compliance with the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE), potentially utilizing Scrum methodology and practices.Note:
