Objectives of this role
Maintain essential IToperations, including operating systems, security tools, applications,servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Handle business-critical ITtasks and system improvements
Enable faster and smarterbusiness processes and employee productivity
Research and evaluate emergingtechnologies, hardware, and software
Serve as the subject-matterexpert supporting Windows, and widely used software and applications, suchs Microsoft and Adobe.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and supportworkstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
Analyze staff needs, identifyvulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
Execute systems and networkdesign, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, andensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly
Implement applications andsoftware upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
Train employees in usingsoftware and hardware, and provide technical support when needed
Required skills andqualifications
Knowledgeof troubleshooting MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, LogMeIn, encryption, etc.•Abilityto troubleshoot computer peripheral devices: printers, scanners, MDF, monitors,keyboard, mice etc.•Experiencedin troubleshoot issues on end user computing devices, including desktops,laptops, and Surface Pros.•Historyof working in an Active Directory domain environment•Proficientat software installs and troubleshooting•Somenetworking knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot network issuesfrom the command line.
