As a key Technical Lead for RF/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer, you will play a lead role in the development of next generation RF circuits for optical communications. We are actively seeking talented RF IC design engineers who want to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence. Your Role:
You will be working with a talented skilled team to develop the next generation circuits to solve the bandwidth problems in AI/ML applications. This is a small team environment in a great location that is very collaborative with close personal interactions. The selected individual will work with a highly qualified team of engineers, located both locally and abroad.
Requirements:
Strong Technical Leader with execution track record. Must have a proven track record RF IC design in SiGe or CMOS technologies and have experience in developing full Driver or TIA circuits supporting volume production.
PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of experience of SiGe, CMOS RF, Mixed-signal and Analog design experience.
Ability to take the specifications and generate a circuit architecture for either Driver or TIA design.
Be a lead for the Driver or TIA circuit, and participation the stages with clear specs to work with other engineers.
Through knowledge of Cadence RF simulation and Layout tools, and hands on experience with layout and its impact in the performance of these circuits. Good knowledge of PDK, and its impact on Monte-Carlo simulations, and performance metrics.
Mentoring junior engineers and working with global engineers is critical for this job.
In addition to TIA and Driver design, ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:
RF circuits for optical and/or wireless communications
Low-Noise amplifiers (LNA), Variable gain amplifiers (VGA)
Common circuits such as Band-gap reference, PLL, clocking, ESD etc.
Good knowledge of Signal Integrity and associated compensation circuits.
Microwave or RF engineering, specifically transmission lines theory, matching, RF device models.
System-level specification, floor planning, characterization, and productization experience is desired.
Experience with system level design tools (e.g. Matlab, Verilog-AMS, etc.) is a plus.

Pay Range:
P95-USA-1: $174,300.00 - $249,000.00
