Information Security Architect (Hybrid)

Location: Moline, IllinoisJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $100,000 - 120,000 per yearOur growing and well-established client is enhancing their Information Security team and is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Information Security Architect. This pivotal role involves spearheading the security architecture process, ensuring that protective measures are integrated seamlessly from the design stage through to execution. Responsibilities:Spearhead the development and integration of security architecture, ensuring protective measures are included from design to implementation.Evaluate and assess the security measures of third-party vendors and partners. Engage in negotiating security provisions within vendor contracts to ensure data protection and compliance with regulations.Drive the identification and mitigation of risks related to IT operations. Regularly update the Cyber Security Risk Register and serve as the main point of contact during external audits and compliance assessments.Work collaboratively to improve identity and access management practices, and provide backup support for related roles as needed.Support the development and enhancement of incident response strategies.
