directed, resourceful, strong technology background and skills.

Job Summary : Under the direction of the Assistive Technology Coordinator (AT), the AT

clerk works closely with this Coordinator to adapt and modify the curriculum, assist

with technology needs, and maintains an inventory of special education curriculum, supplies, equipment, and technology resources for students with disabilities.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Assist in the creation and design of needed assistive technology materialsAssist in maintaining a log of all hardware, software, and assistive technology devices and materials used within the District's special education departmentAssist with the collection and distribution of AT equipment and training materials, including all special education iPad inventoryTroubleshoot all Special Education iPad requestsWork with the technology department to add and delete apps, troubleshoot equipment, and deliver equipment and devices to studentsTeach staff how to find and use Mosyle system to acquire appsCreate Purchase Orders for assistive technology-related suppliesAssist in distributing psych testing kitsBarcode Special Education equipment and suppliesInventory and track Special Education equipment and supplies in BookTracksAfter inventory has been received in, collect and distribute the Special Education supplies and equipment to the requesterMeets with teachers to determine adaptive curricular needsDevelop instructional materials and adapt and modify curriculum across all grade levelsCreate materials using Lesson Pix and BoardmakerCreate and distribute visual lunch menus each month to each buildingAdhere to guidelines of confidentiality as outlined in federal and state laws and School Board Policies and Procedures.Assist with clerical dutiesComplete other responsibilities as assigned.Work Environment and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and stand. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others. Occasionally may need to lift up to sixty (60) lbs; reaching, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling within the classroom.

Terms of Employment:

Classified 10-month position.
