Responsibilities:The Azure Network Engineer will be responsible for enhancing, documenting, and ensuring the optimization, scalability, performance, and security of Azure network solutions. Proactive network monitoring is essential to identify potential issues and mitigate risks early on. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing Azure compute, storage, and networking resources, along with deep expertise in planning, implementing, and maintaining Azure network infrastructures. This includes core network architecture, hybrid connectivity solutions, disaster recovery routing, private access to Azure services, application delivery, and network security measures.
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
Expertise in
Microsoft Azure
networking and infrastructure.AZ-700 certification
is highly desired.Experience working with
Azure Data Lake Storage
is a plus.Proficient in
software-defined networking
with cloud-native and marketplace tools (experience with
Palo Alto
is preferred).Practical experience with
GitHub ,
Azure DevOps , and CI/CD tools.Strong knowledge of designing, deploying, and managing
hybrid network infrastructures
across both cloud and on-prem environments.Skilled in
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) , with hands-on experience using
Terraform
for automating the deployment of Azure resources.Solid understanding and hands-on experience with
DNS ,
Load Balancing ,
Network Proxy Configuration ,
Application Gateways ,
Network Address Translation (NAT) , and
Port Address Translation (PAT) .
