Lead Java AWS Developer

Lead Java AWS Developer Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is looking for Lead Java AWS Developer. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust applications using Java and AWS cloud technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Location: Chicago, IL. Candidate is required to be in the office 3 days a week Responsibilities: Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka) Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills. Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 8 years of software development experience Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, Oracle, Kafka Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred. Good to have experience in any of the rules engine (Ex. Drools) Good to have experience in JPMC on-premises cloud (Gaia) Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology. Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented. Applications will be accepted until 11/15/2024.
