Our client is Seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to add to their Indianapolis team. This individual will be responsible for running multiple projects that will be centered around communication system install/upgrades, wireless network role-outs, security/access installs, and vehicular communication systems install/upgrades. The ability handle multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, coordinate different teams/individuals, document, and be the face for the customer will be critical for success in this role. An upcoming/example project would be as follows: A newly constructed high-rise hospital or renovated commercial space is experiencing poor indoor radio communication for first responders. Thick concrete walls, steel infrastructure, and energy-efficient window coatings are significantly hindering radio signal penetration, creating "dead zones" where emergency personnel cannot communicate effectively. This poses a serious risk during critical incidents like fires, medical emergencies, or active shooter situations where clear and reliable communication is essential for coordinating response efforts and ensuring patient and staff safety. How a Project Coordinator Would Facilitate: The Project Coordinator would play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of a BDA system to resolve this issue. They would be responsible for: 1.Project Initiation and Planning: oCollaborate with hospital administration, fire officials, and radio system engineers to determine coverage requirements and system specifications. oObtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities. oDevelop a detailed project plan, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation. 2.System Design and Procurement: oWork with engineers to design the BDA system, including the placement of donor antennas, amplifiers, and distributed antenna systems (DAS) throughout the building. oCoordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and procure the necessary equipment. 3. 4.Installation and Deployment: oSchedule and coordinate installation activities with internal staff, contractors and hospital staff. oOversee equipment installation, cabling, and system integration. oMinimize disruption to hospital operations during installation Skills: Project coordination, telecommunications, Coordination, customer relationship management, timelines, documentation o Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
