Immediate opening for a Technical Project Coordinator responsible for coordinating timelines and scope efforts for a variety of IT Projects across North America. Projects range from IT deployment of structured cabling and infrastructure, IT deployments and basic move/add/change infrastructure/IT projects. The ideal candidate will have experience of structured cabling installation as well as collaborative project management and a detailed ability to maintain project timelines and installation sequence goals. The position does not require onsite efforts, only coordination of assigned sequences and confirmation/verification that the installation team is on track to meet timelines. Typical project efforts supported by this position: Site infrastructure replacement/upgrades including structured cabling, IT hardware and IT deployment and cutover services. IT/Infrastructure troubleshooting, move/add/change and related efforts. Maintaining and organizing collaborative information provided by project managers, installation team members and customers. Applicant expectations: Detail oriented and able to support multiple projects simultaneously and track efforts. Good communication skills and able to work and coordinate team-oriented efforts. Most efforts will require working with remote installation teams and navigating though challenges to develop solutions. Ability to prioritize efforts based changing project conditions. Prepare and present weekly meetings using Excel, Smartsheets or related software applications (experience preferred, but will train). Self-motivated and able to learn from efforts and improve processes. Report finding and suggestions to management. Occasional weekend cutover remote support if necessary (remotely call into project bridge to support cutover efforts and maintain/coordinate sequences). This is not a requirement of the position, however, the ideal candidate will be able to support if needed and the required coverage days will be coordinated in advance. Capable of reading and understanding structured cabling prints and IT mounting and patching details. Varying hours may be required due to alternate time zone projects. Desired experience (preferred capabilities): Experience with the installation of structured cabling and related components. Able to read blueprints and understand sequencing of scope efforts. General, high level, understanding of IT equipment and interconnectivity. Type over 50wpm and familiar with MS Office applications, experience with Smartsheets preferred.
