Employment Type: FULL_TIMEFull Time Summary: As a Senior PLC and Robotic Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in our automation team. You will be responsible for bringing custom automation to life by developing, implementing and troubleshooting PLC and Robotic controlled automation systems designed for various industry sectors. Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in the design and maintenance of comprehensive electrical controls systems for automated production lines in the facility. Responsible for aiding in the overall design of the system including control panels and field devices, schematics detailing, and programming PLC, HMI and serves in accordance with industry guidelines. Pay Range: $38.00 - $42.00/hr. The rate is subject to experience and qualifications. Benefits: 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off Duties and Responsibilities: Integration Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify integration requirements, define project scope, develop timelines, and allocate resources effectively. Programming and Configuration: Develop, test, integrate and debug PLC's, Robot specific programs, visions systems, and HMI's into Robotic and Automation Systems ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in automated operations. Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of robotic systems to verify functionality, performance, and safety standards, troubleshooting any issues and fine-tuning parameters as necessary. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, operation manuals, and project reports, to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting activities Troubleshooting: Assist maintenance team with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on existing production equipment. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist maintenance team in design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of manufacturing processes and project completion to ensure quality product completion Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Vision Systems, HMI's and experience with at least one Robot Specific programming language Strong understanding of robotics principles, kinematics, dynamics, and control systems. Familiarity with robotic hardware and software components, including sensors, actuators, vision systems, and PLCs. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Credentials and Experience: 1-3 Years of experience in a similar trade Vision Guided Robotics - Custom & Standard Platforms Data Management - Database Integration with PLC UNIX configuration, shell scripting Python or other related programming language
