Technical Support Engineer / Technician - Youngstown, Ohio area - JOB #24-00059
Salary Range: $28.85 to $30.75 per hr. Permanent Position / Benefits* 95% In-House / 5% Travel
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Youngstown, Ohio area Design & Build Machinery Manufacturing Company seeks an Entry or Junior Level Technical Support Electrical Engineer / Electronic Technician who will provide technical support to customers to assist with troubleshooting and resolving other operational issues. The Technical Support person will receive customer calls / emails that must be documented. Your job is to address these issues customer issues and provide solutions through your own research, referring to technical drawings, technical manuals and with the assistance of the engineering staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Associate Technical degree / certification.
Preferred Candidate would have previous experience in Technical Support, Field Service, Help-desk and/or Customer Service.
Candidate should have some experience with industrial automated machinery, metal cutting and metal fabrication equipment.
Candidate must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical blueprints.
Candidate must have experience utilizing AutoCAD software to create electrical drawings. Additional experience with ERP systems is a plus!
Candidate must be willing to learn about the operation of and participate in the assembly, wiring and troubleshooting of our machines.
Candidate will improve upon and create new troubleshooting guides and manuals.
Candidate must have an outgoing personality to assist customers over the telephone in a professional manner.
