Accounting/HR Manager

About the Company:

We are looking for an organized Accounting/HR Manager to oversee financial operations and human resources. This role involves managing accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting, while also handling HR activities like recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, and benefits management.

Responsibilities of the Accounting/HR Manager:
  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, month/year-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts and implement internal controls.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Develop HR policies and maintain accurate employee records.
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting/HR Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and HR.
  • Proficiency in accounting and HR software (Sage experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with payroll, compliance, and HR policies.

The Accounting/HR Manager role is fully onsite in Dover, OH with a salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
